That was lacking previously and I committed to my shots and executed them well today. All in all, it was a good focussed round,' said Randhawa.
The talented Bhullar reckoned his effort today was the first time in six years that he has not shot a single birdie during a round.
'I hit it well but didn't putt well. I made two bogeys and no birdies. I think this round is the first time in six or seven years where I've not made a single birdie. The greens are a bit tricky and I had a tough time reading the greens and the pace,' said Bhullar.
'I hit some shots to within four or five feet but I just couldn't read the greens. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better. I am disappointed with this round but I'm going to try and pull it back tomorrow,' he added.
Miguel Angel Jimenez of Spain, Argentinean Andres Romero and Sweden's Christian Nilsson hold the early clubhouse lead with 65s.
