Ghaziabad, Aug 10 - Four days after he was allegedly kidnapped, mystery surrounds the whereabouts of a 17-year-old Ghaziabad student who Monday told his parents over phone that he has been freed by his abductors but his parents and police were still unable to trace him.

Vivek Singh, a Class 10 student of the Ingraham Institute in Raj Nagar in Ghaziabad town went to school at the usual time Aug 6, but did not return home. His parents searched for him in all likely places and when they were unable to trace him, they approached police.

'We complained about the matter in writing at the Kavi Nagar police station the next day when Vivek did not come home. The next day, we complained again.
