Dhaliwal said Kamal's recent target was senior lawyer C.L. Sareen, a resident of Malaviya Nagar, and he looted a rare 18th century one-rupee coin.

'We have recovered a laptop, digital camera, antique coins and debit and credit cards of foreign banks from him,' Dhaliwal said.

During interrogation, Kamal told police that a part of the stolen goods has been handed over to one of his acquaintances named Suresh Majhi, he said.

The accused also admitted to having committed theft of jewellery items worth about Rs.25 lakh from Hisar in Haryana this year as well as jewellery and other costly items worth Rs.20 lakh from Punjabi Bagh locality here in 2005.
