He said the team has already paid a surprise visit to Gitanjali Express and submitted a report on the condition of its kitchen and food quality to the railway authority concerned.
'It's a very unique and positive step that we have taken to improve the quality and services to our passengers,' he said.
According to a member of the team, food inspection was earlier done by railwaymen who carried out routine checking.
'Besides food quality, the newly-formed team takes care of the kitchen condition and hygiene,' the team member said.
