London, July 17 - Troubled British singer Amy Winehouse may end up paying her ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil $3.6 million as a divorce settlement after she admitted cheating on him during their marriage.
Winehouse's two-year marriage with Fielder-Civil ended Thursday when at London's High Court a judge granted the couple decree nisi. It means if no further evidence is submitted to the court within the next six weeks, their divorce will be formally rubber-stamped, reported contactmusic.com.
Fielder-Civil filed for divorce in January, citing Winehouse's adultery after he saw pictures of her with another man on holiday in St Lucia. And after Thursday's hearing, it emerged Winehouse had confessed to cheating on her husband.
