A few months back two special police officers (SPOs) were killed following a quarrel over a mobile phone in Kalyanpur in west Tripura.

'Twenty-one-year-old SPO Arun Datta shot dead his colleague Subrata Das, 22, at a security camp at Kalyanpur in west Tripura before killing himself with his service rifle,' the spokesman said.

Arun blamed his colleague of stealing his cellphone.
