London, Aug 13 - It has been an eventful season for the Chennai-based racer Emmanuel Gnanaraj in the British Motorcycle Racing Club (BMRC) Championship so far.
The 29-year-old, riding a Yamaha R6, finished 12th in the rookie class (600cc) at the BMRC Championship here Sunday from a field of 40 riders.
Gnanaraj, who has been consistently finishing in top-10 in the series, is next scheduled to race at Cadwell Aug 22-23. His only major mishap was at Snetterton where he crashed.
The season started with 44 riders and 33 of them have managed to score points so far.
When asked about the future plans, Gnararaj said: 'I am concentrating on the current season at the moment, aiming to get into top 10 positions in the championship table by next round.
