Srinagar, July 28 - Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Muzaffar Hussain Baig Tuesday demanded an investigation into the alleged involvement of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in a sex scandal and added that his father Farooq Abdullah was also linked to the scam.

'We want an investigation... Let the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) reach the (Punjab and Haryana) High Court and investigate under its supervision. Or a retired Supreme Court judge should investigate this,' Baig told reporters after a tense session in the assembly where he levelled the charge against the chief minister.

Baig admitted that this was a mere allegation and said he and his party were not concerned whether Omar Abdullah quits. 'That is his call whether he wants to resign or not.
