He said: 'Musharraf is history now and pursuing cases against him at this time will not do any good to the country.'
Meanwhile, Fawad Chaudhry, counsel for Pervez Musharraf said he has not received the copy of the notice issued by the Supreme Court recently.
He said it is important that Musharraf gets a copy of the petition filed against him before he appears in the court.
'Neither the orders have been signed nor has any notice been issued to us. Notices are issued after these are signed,' he added.
He said it was the responsibility of the petitioner to send the notice at the address where the former Pakistani president is currently living.
Chaudhry said the whole world knew his client was in London.
