The Congress president has also urged partymen not to become complacent now after the Lok Sabha victory.

'Amidst the euphoria of victory, we should continue to realise that now our responsibility has enhanced,' she has said.

Appealing to partymen to work for the people, Gandhi also said that in the next five years the party workers should make efforts to 'exceed the expectations' of the electorate.

Joshi was arrested by the Uttar Pradesh police for her remarks against Mayawati on July 15. She is out on interim bail. Sonia Gandhi had expressed regrets over Joshi's remarks.
