Lucknow, July 23 - Uttar Pradesh Congress president Rita Bahuguna Joshi Thursday said her party had no intention of bringing down the two-year-old Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) government led by Mayawati.
'As far as we are concerned, we are not interested in pulling down the Mayawati government, but we cannot do anything if it falls on its own,' Joshi told media persons at the party headquarters here.
Joshi, who had been arrested and put behind bars for making remarks against the chief minister, asserted that she would fight against Mayawati's 'injustice'.
'I have already moved the Allahabad High Court for quashing the trumped up charges against me as also for instituting a CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) inquiry into the arson attack on my house by Mayawati's goons.
