'The live telecast of the proceedings will continue. The assembly will provide feed to all the channels. They may record the same or telecast it live,' he said. The assembly has appointed a private company to film the house proceedings.
Kiran Kumar imposed a ban on live telecast of any other event or protest in the premises. 'The media also has a responsibility to protect the sanctity of the house and I request you not to telecast anything other than the house proceedings,' he said.
The speaker said the media passes were categorised into three to regulate access to lobbies, press gallery and media point.
As part of security measures, he also banned the entry of all delegations to the assembly complex during the session. Several delegations and visitors come to the assembly to submit representations to chief minister and ministers. Ministers were also told not to hold meetings other than those related to assembly proceedings.
While visitors will continue to be allowed in the visitor's gallery, the speaker has imposed several restrictions as per the recommendations of the security review committee.
