Ghaziabad, Sep 11 - A woman and her son were killed when the roof of their house in Loni area here collapsed in heavy rains early Friday, police said.

Rachna and Krish died when the roof of the first floor fell, leading to a collapse of the ceiling of their ground floor room about 3 a.m., police said.

Her husnabd Sanjay, their daughters Khushi and Muskan, and his sister Meenu, also sleeping beside them, were critically injured and were rushed to the G.T.B. Hospital in Shahdara.
