Bhubaneswar, Sep 9 - A cargo ship capsized Wednesday evening in the Bay of Bengal near Orissa's Paradeep port minutes after it moved from the harbour area carrying about 25,000 tonnes of iron ore, a port official said. Most of the crew were rescued.
The vessel, under a Mongolian flag, capsized some five to six km off the harbour area of the Paradeep port, about 100 km from state capital Bhubaneswar, police said.
Of the 27 crew members, 26 have been rescued. Efforts are on to rescue the missing crew member, port sources said.
