Raipur, Sep 9 - Two troopers of the paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were critically injured Wednesday when they walked over a pressure bomb planted by Maoists in a thickly forested area of Bastar region in Chhattisgarh, an official said.
The blast took place in Jagargunda of Bijapur district, about 450 km south of here.
Both the injured troopers - Rajkumar and Hemant - were airlifted to a government hospital in Jagdalpur for urgent medical attention, an official at the police headquarters here said.
