New Delhi, Sep 7 - Burglars have looted cash and jewellery worth Rs.60 lakh from a businessman's home in Samaipur Badli here, police said Monday.

According to police, when Mukesh Kumar Kashyap alongwith his family returned home around 4.30 p.m. Sunday after watching a film, he found it ransacked.

Police said the businessman was out of his sector 18 house in Rohini when burglars entered the house using duplicate keys and fled with Rs.30 lakh in cash and jewellery worth Rs.30 lakh.

Police said the entry into the house was friendly as the locks were not broken but opened.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the burglars were acquainted with the house and knew where the cash and valuables were kept.

'We are suspecting the role of an insider. We have recorded the statements of the victim and an investigation has been launched to ascertain the identity of the burglars,' a police official said.
