New Delhi, Sep 7 - A 16-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped while returning from her school in Bhajanpura area of northeast Delhi Monday, police said.
According to the police, Kiran (name changed), a class XII student, was returning home around 1 p.m. along with her younger sister who studies in class VII of the same school, when a white van stopped in front of them.
Two unidentified men stepped out, forcibly dragged Kiran in and fled, a senior police officer said.
'The younger sister ran back to her home and informed her parents,' the officer added.
The family then complained to the police.
According to the officer, Kiran's younger sister told them that besides the two men who dragged her sister inside the vehicle, she saw two other people inside who were wearing burkhas (veils).
