New Delhi, Sep 4 - A man was Friday sentenced to life term for killing a youngster who used to pass comments at his sister.

Additional Sessions Judge Sunita Gupta held Ajay guilty of murder and imposed a fine of Rs.5,000 after relying on the statement of eyewitnesses.

On Oct 20, 2008, Sanjay Rawat's sister lodged a complaint with the Shahdara police station that he was missing.

Sanjay was living at Pratap Nagar, Shahadara, in a society flat on the second floor with his mother, and Ajay lived on the first floor of the same building with his sister and parents.

Sanjay used to pass comments at Ajay's sister, though Ajay had told him again and again to stay away from her.

One day as Sanjay passed some comments about the girl, Ajay lost his temper and hit him with a wooden plank, killing him on the spot.
