New Delhi, Aug 26 - The Delhi High Court Wednesday refused to order any judicial or magisterial inquiry into last year's Batla House encounter, during which a police inspector and two suspected Islamist militants had been killed.

Rights groups and some local residents had raised questions about the encounter in a congested neighbourhood within the Okhla area of south Delhi.
