New York, Aug 24 - 'Harry Potter' star Rupert Grint is desperate to find a girlfriend because all his friends are happily in love.

The British actor, who plays the boy wizard's best buddy Ron Weasley in the series turned 21 Monday and had to attend Britain's V Festival at the weekend with a friend because he doesn't have a partner to spend his time with. He's adamant to find a special someone, reports hollywood.com.

'I'm here with a mate as I'm still single. All my mates are loved-up - I'd like a girlfriend. Perhaps I'll meet someone here this weekend,' he said.
