Abu Dhabi, Aug 24 - The Environment Agency-Abu Dhabi (EAD) and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) have signed an agreement for a campaign to raise awareness about the environment, WAM news agency reported Monday.

The six-month Green Investment Awareness campaign will target ADCB customers and other account holders and encourage them to contribute towards environment awareness.

According to the agreement signed Sunday, EAD will provide its expertise to ADCB to enhance the bank's ability in raising environmental awareness and promoting responsible consumerism amongst its clients.

'This agreement is in line with our environmental strategy for the emirate of Abu Dhabi. We strongly believe in partnerships for environmental awareness with all concerned organisations including both public and private sectors,' said Majid Al Mansouri, secretary general of EAD.
