Abu Dhabi, Aug 20 - The Red Crescent Authority in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will donate vehicles to Palestine to boost the capacities of the health and social service institutions in the coastal strip, WAM news agency reported Thursday.

The Red Crescent will provide 121 vehicles, including ambulances, in Gaza, it said.

The assistance is part of the UAE's efforts to improve the living conditions of the Palestinians.

The vehicles will be used by the Palestine social affairs ministry to undertake humanitarian work.

The health facilities have been damaged after the bombardment of militant positions in Gaza by the Israeli security forces.
