Buenos Aires, Aug 20 (EFE) A 74-year-old man has been arrested on charges of raping his three daughters over a period of 17 years and also sexually abusing children he fathered with the elder daughter, the police said.

The man was arrested after his 29-year-old daughter filed a criminal complaint with police in the city of Itati.

According to her, the man started raping her since she was 12 and fathered seven children - two dauthres aged 12 and 15, and five sons, aged 9, 7, 5, 3 and one month.

She also alleged that her minor daughters were also being sexually assaulted by her father.

Two of the woman's sisters later admitted that they too were raped by their father, who is in the custody of prosecutors.
