Bhopal, Aug 17 - Two people were burnt alive when their car caught fire after hitting a tree in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh, police said Monday.

The car going from Khargone to Khandwa caught fire when it hit a tree in Bhikangaon locality while negotiating a turn. The passengers could not get down from the vehicle as they could not open the doors and were burnt alive, said a police official.

The victims were yet to be identified. Khargone is 350 km from here.
