New Delhi, July 12 - The central and Delhi governments are likely to decide on Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) managing director E. Sreedharan's resignation Monday, Urban Development Minister S. Jaipal Reddy said Sunday.

Sreedharan sent his resignation to Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit owning 'moral responsibility' after an accident at an underconstruction stretch of Delhi Metro that killed six people and injured 15 Sunday.

'The managing director is appointed by the government of Delhi... I will talk to the chief minister and take a view tomorrow,' central Urban Development Minister Reddy told reporters.

Delhi Metro is a joint venture of the central government and the Delhi government.
