Seoul, Aug 3 - The South Korean government plans to vaccinate its entire 655,000-strong military personnel against the influenza A (H1N1) virus, also called swine flu, WAM news agency reported Monday.

The anti-flu drugs will be administered in November, the report said citing the South Korean state media.

The decision to vaccinate the military staff comes after 81 soldiers have contracted the swine flu virus, the South Korean defence ministry said.

The vaccination project will cost $7.5 million, the report said citing the ministry.
