New Delhi, Aug 2 - Over 50 Indian companies will participate in the first major Indian trade fair in Indonesia, whose economy is growing at a fast clip, to promote Brand India.
Organised by the commerce ministry and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the roadshow, titled 'Made in India', in Indonesian capital Jakarta will be inaugurated by Minister of State for Commerce Jyotiraditya Scindia and Indonesian Minister of Industry Fahim Idris.
Companies from sectors such as automobiles, auto components, earthmoving and construction equipment, IT and communication, mining and railway equipment, gems and jewellery, and handicrafts are participating in the three-day fair starting Aug 7.
'CII would like to see more Indonesian business come to India for investments in areas such as infrastructure, oil and gas, tourism,' said CII director general Chandrajit Banerjee.
