Mumbai, July 31 - State-run National Aluminium Co (NALCO) reported a 75 percent fall in net profit to Rs.126.4 crore for the quarter ended June 30, as compared to Rs.525.3 crore in the like period last year.

The total income decreased 34 percent to Rs.1,036.5 crore from Rs.1,593.7 crore, the company said in a regulatory statement.

NALCO's net sales too dipped 37 percent to Rs.921.5 crore in the June quarter from Rs.1,467 crore a year ago.
