New Delhi, July 27 - The Supreme Court Monday dismissed a petition that had questioned the functioning of electronic voting machines (EVMs), used extensively in recent Indian polls.

Dismissing the petition filed by a Hyderabad-based NGO, Chief Justice K.G. Balakrishnan asked the petitioner to approach the Election Commission to get its grievance redressed.
