New Delhi, July 26 - In an apparent reference to Uttar Pradesh party chief Rita Bahuguna Joshi's remarks against Chief Minister Mayawati, the Congress has urged party workers never to lose 'mutual respect' for political leaders and ideologies and always observe 'diplomacy and decorum'.
The advice has been given in the latest issue of party mouthpiece Sandesh. The editorial asks party workers to 'inculcate the habit of diplomacy and decorum in expressing our anguish whenever required'.
'Lately it has been seen that political leaders have become prone to using intemperate language while reacting to political situations,' the editorial says, adding, 'Mutual respect for political leaders and ideologies must never be lost.'
In an article in Sandesh, Congress president Sonia Gandhi has urged party workers not to become complacent now after the Lok Sabha victory.
