London, July 18 - Paul Karslake, the artist brother-in-law of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, has painted a ghastly image of Wood as a blood sucking vampire after Wood cheated on his sister with a younger Russian woman.

Dailymail.co.uk reports that the image is a panting of a hollow-cheeked vampire with teeth dripping blood after sinking its fangs into the neck of a beautiful young blonde.

Karslake said: 'Ronnie sucked the life out of my sister for 30 years. She gave him the best years of her life.

'Now he's on to his next victim,' says Paul, explaining why it was Ronnie who popped into his head when he was asked by the FX television channel to create a painting to mark the start of the US television series 'True Blood'.

'Painting Ronnie as a vampire was, you could say, like exorcising demons. It's been called my 'revenge painting' and in a way it's a bit of a dig, probably subconsciously -- well, quite consciously actually,' he said.

He added: 'Come to think of it, he's always looked a bit like a vampire. Very thin and pale, he's a creature of the night. I've painted Ronnie so many times, I don't even need to look at a photograph of him any more. It's all in my head.'
