London, Sep 2 - Many find Hollywood star Daniel Craig's decision to beef up his security to avoid crazy fans during his Broadway debut 'funny' because they feel he is 'hardly recognised' by anyone.

The actor has requested a personal security team throughout the show's run Sep 10, while his co-star Hugh Jackman has refused even a bodyguard, reports contactmusic.com.

'Everybody thinks it's funny because the truth is Daniel rarely gets approached by the public in the street or restaurants - especially now that he has the huge handlebar moustache for this role,' a source has been quoted as saying.

Craig will be making his stage debut with 'A Steady Rain', a play about two friends whose friendship is put to the test. Apparently, the hype surrounding the show is so intense that the pair has been rehearsing away from the theatre at a secret location.
